Governance
Piaget Academy operates as a Singapore entity to provide the structure, governance and quality assurance.
Each Piaget School operates within a foundation (Yayasan), a non-profit organization that is regulated within a clear and defined “Structure and Governance.”
It is led and governed by a highly qualified international Board of Governors (BOG) consisting of eminent practitioners from leading institutions of learning, corporate leaders and leading professionals in the fields of education, business, research and technology.
The Board of Governors form the policy for Piaget Academy. They guide and set directions for the schools in maintaining current quality education ensuring the employment of effective expatriate teachers and their further development through in-service courses.
Each school is managed by a Board of Management, who together with the Principal, is responsible for the educational well-being of their school. The Board of Management and Principal report to the Board of Governors.
The Principal is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school and is also a member of the Board of Management.
Reviews of each school occur on an annual basis.
