Nanyang Girls’ High School (NYGH), Singapore Founded in 1917, NYGH is the top independent girls’ secondary school in Singapore and the sister school of Hwa Chong Institution. NYGH has a tradition of outstanding academic, sporting and aesthetic achievements. Being a Special Assistance Plan school, its pupils are effectively bi-literate (reading both Chinese and English as the first languages).
